Söderenergi produces district heating for some 300 000 people, offices and industries in the southern Stockholm area and enough electricity to power 100 000 homes.

Five plants
The company operates five plants:

• The Igelsta district heating plant in Södertälje
• The Igelsta CHP plant in Södertälje
• The Fittja plant in Botkyrka
• Huddinge Maskincentral in Huddinge
• Geneta Panncentral in Södertälje

The Huddinge and Geneta plants are reserve facilities for use in extremely cold weather.

Owners
Söderenergi is owned by the municipalities of Södertälje, Huddinge and Botkyrka.
